Are you interested in starting your own organic flower or vegetable garden? Need a little help? Garden Darling is here!

I will come to your house for four 1.5 hour sessions to help you get started gardening, and/or redesign your garden. We will work together to design and implement a garden plan that you love, whether you just need assistance with a problem area or want my help in creating a vision for your whole yard. You will work beside me to help you realize your dream garden.

Four session package includes:

Session 1 - Consultation and comprehensive site evaluation. Follow up email of planting ideas and links to images of plants.
Sessions 2 & 3- Implementation of design. Soil preparation, amendment, and bed preparation. Nursery trip for final plant selection and purchase of all materials needed.
Session 4 - Discussion of maintenance requirements to keep your garden thriving. Most clients use this session to install a drip irrigation system, which I highly recommended for most projects. This is also an opportunity for us to reflect on the next phase of your project.

I provide:

Assistance with garden design and installation
Basic information and techniques for plant selection and care
Soil management
Tips on organic pest management
Assistance during selection and purchase of plants at the nursery
Consulting via email and phone
Illustrations of design ideas

We can also tour neighborhood gardens to help inspire and establish your style, involve your children, problem solve difficult locations, and work with small spaces or container gardens. For larger projects, extra time and/or additional helpers are available for hourly rates. I am available through email for questions and consulting between appointments. Weekend appointments available!
